The grand alliance government will be formed in Bihar: Deepika Pandey Singh
Dumka, October 16 (IANS). Jharkhand Rural Development Minister Deepika Pandey Singh has made a big claim regarding the Bihar Assembly elections. He said that this time a grand alliance government will be formed in Bihar. The public has already rejected the NDA’s claims like ‘crossing 400’. Deepika Pandey Singh while talking to journalists targeting the NDA. He said, “The people of Bihar are going to vote in favor of change and there will be a big upheaval in the coming days. NDA’s claims of victory like crossing 400 have now been exposed in front of the public. This time in Bihar the Grand Alliance is getting immense love and support from the people.” He also commented on the ongoing discussions about seat sharing. A final agreement is reached on seat sharing in the grand alliance between RJD, Congress and Left parties. Congress is likely to get 61-63 seats, while RJD will become the main partner. Deepika said, “The issue regarding the seat will be resolved soon. It is a normal process but what happens in JDU and BJP is likely to happen in any alliance.” Referring to the internal discord in the NDA, he said that JDU has released the list of 57 candidates while BJP has released the list of 101 names, but dissatisfaction is clearly visible among the allies. The Grand Alliance is strong on the issues of development, employment and social justice. He said that some surveys show the lead of NDA. But the ground reality is in favor of the Grand Alliance. Third fronts like Jan Suraj and AIMIM can also cut into NDA’s votes. The wind of change is blowing in Bihar. The unity of the Grand Alliance will spoil the math of NDA. As for Jharkhand’s Ghatshila Assembly by-election, Deepika has claimed the grand victory of the Grand Alliance candidate. He said: “Our victory is certain in Ghatsila. There is going to be public support on tribal issues.” –IANS SCH/ABM Share this story Tags
