PM Netanyahu called it as ‘rewarding terrorism’. Prime Minister Netanyahu said in his statement: “I have a clear message for all the leaders who acknowledge Palestine, especially after the terrible massacre of October 7. You are giving a great reward to terror.” This statement comes at a time when countries such as Australia, Canada and the United Kingdom formally recognized Palestine as an independent nation. At the same time, the Israeli Army (IDF) spokesman Brigadier -General EFI Dephrin said in a video statement that the army has now expanded his actions to and within Gaza City.
