The Supreme Court issued an important order in the Rajasthan Police Subinspector (SI) recruitment 2021 case. The court remained the order of the Divisional Bank of the Rajasthan High Court, in which the selected pupil was allowed to train. In addition, the Supreme Court ordered the single bank to maintain the status quo on the order to cancel the recruitment on August 28. After this order, no further steps will be taken on the training of the pupil. The Supreme Court also ordered the Divisional Bank to make a decision on the appeal within three months. What was the order of the Supreme Court? The Rajasthan High Court Divisional Bank issued an interim order on September 8, 2025, prohibiting the order to cancel the recruitment on August 28 at the single bank and allowed the pupil to start practicing. This order was an important step as it brought relief to the candidates appointed as a trainee. However, the Supreme Court ruling: The Supreme Court, however, stamped the order and made it clear that the pupil could not be trained until the final decision was made in the case. In addition, the court ordered the Supreme Court Division Bank to make a decision on the appeal in this case within three months. After this order, there was a situation of tension and confusion among the candidates of SI recruitment 2021. Millions of candidates participated in this recruitment process and many candidates had the dream to serve in the police. Now this process may be longer with the command of the Supreme Court, thereby there is an atmosphere of disappointment among the candidates. The next guidance in this case will now depend on the decision taken by the Supreme Court Divisional Bank. However, the Supreme Court has made it clear that no instability or new action will be allowed in the case until the final decision is made.
