About 140 years ago, some people from the Parsauni village of Rampur Panchayat of the Barauli block of the Gopalganj district of Seychelles reached as indentured laborers. The British took the people here to work as laborers. They were called increased laborers. Among them, people from Bihar were also present in large numbers. With their hard work, they also settled their empire there. Ramkalavan’s grandfather was also one of them. Wavell Ramkalawan, a descendant of ingested laborers, became the president of Seychelles in 2020. Earlier, when the leaders were in opposition, they reached Parsauni after finding the town of their ancestors. He was distressed after seeing the state of his native village, and then the administration talked about speeding up the development of Parsauni and Rampur Panchayat. He came to Parsauni on January 10, 2018 in search of his ancestors village. As soon as he came here, he bowed before the land of the village and put Tilak on his forehead. At the time, he was the leader of the opposition in the National Assembly of Seychelles. His eyes filled with tears as soon as he walks in his ancestral village of Parsauni. Ramkalavan, overwhelmed by his welcome, said he would never forget the love here. He promised to come again next time. It has also been said that he will now come as head of state.
