On November 22, 2024, the victim Sameer Khan filed a complaint with the Sindhi Camp police station that the accused had cheated on Rs 4.5 Lakh by promising big profits in the Crypto Supersity project. The accused won the confidence of the people by calling himself an IIT student through social media and later disappearing with money. A special team was established led by the Deputy Commissioner of the Jaipur West, Dharamvir Singh and Assistant Commissioner of Police Manish Sharma led by the Shyam Sundar Sharma police station. After continuous technical monitoring and analysis, the accused was arrested from the Subhash Chowk police station. According to police, the accused is part of a large online venue fraud group that robs the youth in the name of crypto and investment in false work.
