The Ministry of Home Affairs awaits the Vice Regent’s report on the Regent of Sidoarjo Mutation 60 asn

Jakarta – The Ministry of Home Affairs (Kemendagri) responded to the plan of Deputy Regent (Vice -Regent) of Sidoarjo Mimik Idayana which will report the regent of Sidoarjo Subandi related to the conflict of mutation and rotation of dozens. The Interior Ministry awaits the report. “We will wait and learn if there are reports from the regions,” said Benny Irwan, head of the Interior Ministry, when he was contacted on Tuesday (9/23/2025). Browse to continue the content Benny said that the Ministry of Home Affairs has not yet received a report of the expression. “Yes, there was no report,” he said. Previously, Mimik claims that he was not involved in the mutation and rotation of the state civil device (ASN). Mimic intends to report Subandi to the Interior Ministry. In the inauguration held in the Delta Wibawa Hall, 61 ASNs were transferred and rotated, from high ranking officials to administrative officials. In fact, according to Mimik, it was previously agreed that a shift was only to fill 31 empty positions in a number of regional apparatus organizations (OPD). “I am very sorry because the initial agreement was for 31 ASN only, but the number suddenly became 61 people. The addition was never notified to me as the steering team in the TPK (Performance Assessment Team),” Mimik said by Detikjatim, Sunday (9/21). Mimic emphasized that the mutation violated the procedure as determined in PP number 20 regarding PRF performance appraisal and the Act number 20 of 2023 regarding merit systems. He said he would report it to the Ministry of Home Affairs. “Obviously, there is a violation of the mechanism. I do not know the process, not even if the inauguration takes place. Therefore, I will report this problem to the Ministry of Home Affairs so that the system in Sidoarjo is right again,” he said. On the other hand, the regent of Sidoarjo Subandi ensured that the mutation was in accordance with the procedure. He emphasized that mutations and rotation were naturally in the bureaucratic system. “This mutation is in line with the rules. The mechanism is indeed from BKN. If someone says it is invalid, yes, there is an interested party. What is clear is that BKN has answered its regulations accordingly, so there is no problem,” Subandi said at the Waru District Office. (cover/jbr)
