The Ministry of Social Affairs immediately forms the task force and focuses on the course of people's schools
Jakarta – The Ministry of Social Affairs (Ministry of Social Affairs) will soon form a People’s School of School Operational Control Task Force. This team will later take the task of responding quickly to various dynamics found in the field. “This task force will be established soon. The proposed nomenclature is the operational control group of people’s schools,” said Agus Jabo Priyono, Deputy Minister of Social Affairs, in his statement Wednesday (8/27/2025). Agus explained, this task force will focus on supervision and control of managing the People’s School program at 100 points that work. The number will increase to 165 points distributed across different regions of Indonesia in September. Browse to continue with the content There are four main tasks performed by this team, namely the implementation of people’s school programs, completing technical obstacles in the field, oversee financial aspects and infrastructure and monitoring the quality of human resources (HR). “For almost a month going on, we still find problems in the learning process. Quantitative success needs to be increased to be a qualitative success by building a better system in every people’s schools,” Agus explained. Some obstacles have been identified, for example reports of the SRMP 10 Bogor principal related to the physical and spiritual age gap of children, including ten students who could not read and write, so they need special help from teachers and psychological consultations. Meanwhile, the principal of SRMA 9 East Jakarta said there are still incomplete facilities and the need for data integration by the Dapodik system. “Later, this task force will supervise the emergency situation related to learning and welfare of teaching staff so that it can be overcome immediately,” Agus said. He claims that the continuity of the teaching -learning process needs three main pillars, namely sufficient facilities, quality and loyal human resources and a stable budget. This task force is expected to be able to guide the pioneering school before going to the permanent school scene with a broader and more complicated scope.
