The Ministry of Transport distributes RP. 10.4 billion for 2 transmigrant areas in West Papuea
Manokwari – The Ministry of Transmigration (Kementrans) has distributed RP’s assistance 10.4 billion for the construction of 2 transmigration areas in western papoea. The assistance was to support the development of infrastructure at homes of worship in the transmigration area. Deputy Minister of Transmigration, Viva Yoga Mauladi, said the help was provided from the 2025 state budget. The help would later be distributed for two transmigration areas, namely at Momi Waren Manokwari Selatan and Prafi Manokwari district in Western Papua. “Today we will provide assistance from APBN funds for the West Papuea Province of RP 10.4 billion,” said Viva Yogya, while reviewing the transmigrant Momi Waren area, South Manokwari, West Papua, Wednesday (9/17/2025). Waketum Pan said the aid will be used later for the construction of a number of infrastructure in the transmigration area, ranging from homes of worship to the school. “For the construction of 4 units of school clean water toilets and facilities in the Momi Waren area, consisting of 3 primary schools and 1 junior high school. Then the second, the rehabilitation of schools in the Momi Waren area, 6 units, consisting of 4 primary schools and 2 junior high schools,” he said. “Third, the rehabilitation of church buildings in Manokwari Selatan is 2 units.
