By Rollo Ross and Danielle Broadway Los Angeles, September 16 (Reuters) – Reese Witherspoon and Jennifer Aniston may be personally related to the issues of artificial intelligence that unpack the television series “The Morning Show” in season four. Both actors stole their real look and used in Deepfake videos, a problem facing Aniston’s fictional character Alex Levy, a journalist. Deepfakes is synthetic media in which a person’s image is replaced in a photo or video with someone else’s image using AI techniques. The incredible realistic forgery is difficult for viewers to detect, leading to personification, fraud, extortion and the spread of incorrect information and propaganda. “There is just so much you can do to try to catch it all (deepfakes), you know, because it just happens with such rapid velocity and such enormous amounts that” How do you control it all? “I love to show it in the show,” Aniston said in an interview. “There must be a few rules or legislation, something around how this AI is used because it is so dangerous and just reckless,” the ‘backup’ -tv series added. ‘The Morning Show’, known for tackling timely political issues, addresses in season four about how the news industry has changed since the last suspension in 2023. From Wednesday, the new season follows a group of journalists as they handle the merger between two major fictional networks, UBN and UBA. “I mean, we’re talking about the rise of the individual journalist or the rise of the individual voice,” said Witherspoon, an executive producer of the show. She also portrays Bradley Jackson, an impulsive smaller-year reporter who takes the show with the show. “We handle the manosphere, all the Bro podcasters, people who have a very strong influence on listeners in terms of their medical advice on how to vote.” The actor ‘Big Little Lies’ is proud of how the Emmy-nominated performance has remained relevant since its inception. “So we have to keep this show that talks about things that people are talking about right now, which make it really topical.” (Reporting by Rollo Ross and Danielle Broadway; Editing by Richard Chang)
