Thai Opal Socia Chuanstere crowned the Miss World 2025 title at the ceremony held on May 31 in the city of Hyderabad, India, becoming the first woman from Thailand to win this title in the history of the competition.

Opal was born on September 20, 2003 on the Thai island of Phuket, and is currently studying policy and international relations at the University of Tamasa in the capital, Bangkok, according to CNN and Times of India.

She grew up in a family working in the field of hospitality and hotels, and her dream was from a young age to compete in beauty competitions. In 2024 she won the title of Miss Thailand and represented her country in the Miss Universe competition, as she ranked third, but she lost the title later after violating the conditions of coronation, and despite that, her career did not stop, as she was appointed as an official actress for her country in Miss World 2025.

In addition to its aesthetic achievements, Opal launched the “OPAL for Her” campaign to raise awareness of breast cancer, after under the age of 16 underwent the removal of a benign tumor that inspired her this initiative.

Three Thai, English and Chinese languages are proficient, and they are characterized by remarkable cultural and artistic capabilities, as they are good at playing the yoletelle in a mirrored manner. It also has 16 cats and 5 dogs as pets.
