The national conference was started in Delhi, Minister Kiren Rijiju praised in Delhi
New -delhi, October 6 (IANS). A three -day national conference will be arranged in the capital Delhi from 6 to 8 October 2025. Many institutions and organizations from across the country participate in this event. The national conference was launched on October 6, in which Union Minister Kiren Rijiju was present as main guests. In his speech, Rijiju said that India’s identity is in its traditions and culture, and we must keep our originality with modernity. He said I came here and saw how people from different countries of the country came with the North East and brought the culture of their respective areas. The Union Minister further said that there were earlier programs in the country that used to connect the North East to the country, but today this program connects the entire country through the North East in the center. He toured all the stalls and appreciated how beautiful products were produced with new ideas. Rijiju repeated the message of ‘Vocal for Local’ of Premier Narendra Modi and said that we should use more and more indigenous clothing and products. He said we should be proud to wear clothing from states such as Assam, Nagaland and Manipur. This is the real ‘make in India, make for the world’. Artists, scientists, researchers, policymakers and entrepreneurs across the country participated in this concrete. Here are discussed products from natural fibers such as jute, silk, eri and bamboo. The main purpose of this conference is to take a strong step towards self -sufficient India by connecting traditional crafts with new technology.
