The National Women's Commission team visits Malda and Murshidabad: Archana Majumdar

Kolkata, April 17 (IANS). The National Commission for Women took note of the violence in Murshidabad in the Western Bengals against the Waqf Act. On April 18, a team of the Commission reached Malda. Dr. Archana Majumdar, a member of the commission, spoke to the Ians news agency on Thursday. He said a team from the Commission will visit Malda and Murshidabad. Violence is met with victims. The report will be prepared based on interaction with people, which will be submitted to the central government. It will be our effort to bring the victims back into mainstream. He said the incident in Murshidabad remains an eye on the land. During the violence, there were also cases of atrocities, harassment in women in Murshidabad and Malda. One of our teams with yoga president Vijaya Rahatkar will visit Murshidabad and Malda. He further told us that we will reach Malda on April 18 at 14:30. The victims will meet where they are held. The commission will try to try to bring them back to the mainstream. Apart from this, SP will hold a meeting with DM and send the entire report to the central government. This report will also be sent to the state government. About the violence in the Western Bengals, Dr. Archana Majumdar further said that I saw Bengal very carefully. Never seen riots in childhood. In the past ten years, however, there have been more incidents of violence in Western Bengals. Since taking responsibility in the commission, I have seen five incidents here so far.
