The office is set to return to our screens with the upcoming reboot/sequel, starring Domhnall Gleeson and Sabrina Impacciatore, along with some families from the original NBC series. Jenna Fischer and Angela Kinseywho played pam and angela, respectively, recently visited the set of the upcoming reboot, and they teased what audiences can expect from the show. But, one big question looms large over their update: What is just a set visit? Or, will they be appearing in the new show?
Angela kinsey, who co-hosts an Office-themed podcast titled office ladies with Jenna Fischer, recently appeared on Today If part or an Office Reunion. During the Conversation, Kinsey Revealed that Herself and Fischer had visited the set of the new The office reboot. “Jenna and I stopped by set,” she Began. So far, of all the character from the original show, only Oscar (Oscar Nuñez) is confirmed to return for the reboot. Kinsey recalled being invited to the set, and reuniting with her old Office Rival:
“Greg (Daniels) had invited us, and we showed up, and not only was Oscar there, but our crew, so many of these wonderful people. Because the crew was our extended family, and we are still really close with them, and that was really moving to see.”

Speaking of Oscar Nuñez, the actor also appeared on the show, and gave a big update on the status of the upcoming reboot. “They are still editing and stuff,” The Actor Revealed. Fans have yet to see any stills or a trailer for the new reboot. But, nuñez teased that “more will be revealed! It’s exciting. The experience we went through – not everyone gets to do it.”

The Upcoming Reboot/Sequel, Currently Titled The paperwill tell a new story set in the Same Universe as the Original The office. Gleeson and Impacciatore will lead the new cast of characters who all work at a failing midwestern Newspaper Company. The Office US Creator, Greg Daniels, Along with Michael Koman, have created the new series which will tie into the original show through the mockumentary crew.
While a full plot synopsis and character details haven’t yet been revealed, we already know that the dying newspaper company will try to save its publication through young volunteer reporters. Knowing the comedic style of Greg Daniels, expect the new hirings to lead to absolute chaos.
So far, Oscar Nuñez is the only one of the original stars to be confirmed for the reboot. Almost every other former The office Star has been asked about returning for the reboot, and many of them are fair game for a cameo. John Krasinski, Steve Carell, Rain Wilson, and Jenna Fischer have all expressed an openness to return to the world of The office. However, they have all agreed that there would need to be a good reason for the character to return, rather than forcing a comeo for fan service. The paper Hasnt been given an official release date yet.
