The opposition to the Grand Alliance over the voters list is just ‘political noise’: Minister Shravan Kumar returned on the opposition

During the monsoon session of the Bihar Legislative Assembly, politics was warm over the protests conducted by the Grand Alliance lawmakers for the inspection of the voters list (voter list). State government Minister Shravan Kumar responded sharply to this issue and accused the opposition of spoiling the atmosphere for political profits. Minister Shravan Kumar said: “The inspection of the voters list is a regular process that the Electoral Commission decides. But the opposition just makes a ‘political sound’ by making it a problem. They are not interested in the real issues related to the public.” He also said that the Grand Alliance is afraid of defeat in the upcoming election in the meeting, which is why they make such unfounded allegations to confuse the public. The minister urged the opposition to have a creative debate on the issues of public interest, and not to weaken democracy by accusing without foundation. It is striking that the MLAs of the Grand Alliance left the house and showed strongly in the voters list that accuse them of alleged disorders and prejudice. He said the government tampered with the voter list to benefit the ruling party. Share this story -tags
