Rajasthan: Gravel Mafia crushed police constables in Jodhpur, died during treatment, four arrested

Constable Sunil Khileri, who worked at the Jodhpur Police Commissioner of Rajasthan, died late Tuesday after being crushed by the Gruismafia during the treatment at Mathuradas Mathur Hospital. After this tragic incident, he received a final greeting on the Jodhpur police line on Wednesday and paid tribute. During this, several senior police officers, including police commissioner Rajendra Singh, DCP East Alok Srivastava, DCP West Raj Rishiraj Verma were present. The incident happened two days ago in the Luni police station, when Sunil Khileri was on duty against illegal gravel mining mafia. During this time, some people associated with gravel mafia dumped them, causing them to be seriously injured. He was rushed immediately to Mathuradas Mathur Hospital in Jodhpur, where doctors started treatment. However, Sunil could not be saved as a result of serious injuries. His death has a wave of mourning in Jodhpur police and his family. Police Commissioner Rajendra Singh said that Sunil Khileri was a young soldier who played his responsibility with duty. “We have arrested four accused in this case and there will be strict action against other people involved,” he said. Police said the investigation into the assets of the accused began and that the process of seizing the land associated with mining is also being started. In addition, a list of all people associated with illegal mining is prepared in the Luni region, so that such incidents can be prevented in the future.
