Dehradun, September 21 (IANS). Pushkar Singh Dhami, chief minister of Uttarakhand, appreciates the new GST tariffs that came into effect from 22 September. He describes it as “next generation GST reform” and said it would strengthen India’s development aga. While sharing a post on the social media platform X, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami wrote: “With the vision of Premier Narendra Modi and strong commitment, the next generation GST reforms will strengthen India’s growth story. CM Dhami calls the ‘GST Savings Utsav’ from September 22 in another post. He said: “The GST Savings Festival will start in India from September 22 under the effective leadership of PM Modi. It is a historic moment for all of us, when every class of the country will benefit and enjoy the sweetness of festivals.” Earlier, the chief minister thanked the Prime Minister on behalf of the people of Uttarakhand. He said in the video message: “The revised rates of GST will be implemented from 22 September across the country. These new rates will give great relief to every section of society, especially the middle class. This time Deepawali will be even more special because every person of trader to consumer. Modi said in his speech: “When you gave us the opportunity to serve in 2014, our GST made our priority in the public interest. We discussed with each interested party, we prevented every state of each state from finding a solution for each question.
