While the studio didnn’t have any new footage to unveil, as a filing is currently ongoing, the movie was hailed as nothing short of a “masterpiece” by Jim Orr, Universal Pictures’ President of Domestic Theatrical Distribution.
During Universal Pictures’ Presentation at this Year’s Cinema Con (via the Hollywood Reporter), Christopher Nolan’s upcoming epic was lavished with praise by the studio. While the director himself was unable to attend, as he is currently in production on The OdysseyJim Orr Got the Crowd and Nolan’s Extremely Dedicated Fan Base Hyped About the New Film. Not only will fans be happy with The Odysseybut, according to orr, even Homer would be proud of the movie. He said:
“We know this movie will be a once-in-a-generation cinematic masterpiece that Himer himself would be very proud of.”

During the presentation, Jim orr also highlighted how Christopher Nolan “Assembled a staggering all-star cast” for The Odyssey. That line-up of a-lisers includes Matt Damon, Tom Holland, Zendaya, Anne Hathaway, Charlize Theron, Lupita Nyong’o, Robert Pattinson, Jon Bernthal, Mia Goth, Elliot Page, Cosmo Jarvis, Ryan Hurst, Benny Safdie, and Samantha Morton. Shogun‘s cosmo jarvis was only recently announced to be starred in the film, meaning even more a-lisers could still be added.
