Petition filed in the Delhi High Court in which the Maqbol Butt and Afzal Guru's grave is claimed in Tihar Prison
New -Delhi, September 21 (IANS). In the Delhi High Court, a lawsuit was filed in the public interest demanding that the grave of two terrorists, Mohammad Maqbol Batt and Mohammad Afzal Guru, who were buried in the Tihar jail from Delhi. This petition was submitted by an organization called ‘Vishwa Vedic Sanatan Sangh’, requesting the court to remove these graves from Tihar Prison No-3 and transfer it to a secret place. The requesters argued before the court that the holding of these terrorists buried on the Holy Land of India is not just an insult to the martyrs of the country, but that it also harms the sentiments of the countrymen. The petition said that the graves of terrorists such as Mohammad Maqbol Batt and Mohammad Afzal Guru remain in the Tihar jail penalty, an insult to the sacrifice of all the brave soldiers and ordinary citizens who gave their lives for the safety of the country. The requester organization appealed to the court that the case should be linked to national security and public interest. The institution warned the court that some people or organizations could promote anti -national activities by making these graves a symbol, which could pose a threat to internal security in the future. This petition demands that the graves of both terrorists be moved to an unknown and secret place, where no one gets the chance to glorify them. The requesters called on the Delhi High Court for an early trial in the case. The court is expected to seek answers from the government and the prison administration, taking into account this petition in the coming days. -Ians VKU/DKP shares this story tags
