President XI Chinfing returned to Beijing after visiting Russia

Beijing, May 10 (IANS). Chinese President XI Chinfing returned to Beijing after completing her state visit to Russia and participating in the 80th anniversary of the Soviet Union’s Great Patriotic War. As they depart from Moscow, several senior government officials, including Russia’s deputy premier Dimitri Chennishenko, reached the airport to leave President XI. On this occasion, a worthy farewell ceremony was arranged by the Russian side, in which the military orchestra played the national anthem of China and Russia and President XI accepted the greeting guards’ salute. While the special aircraft of President XI Chinfing agreed to fly, the Russian Air Force aircraft guides them in the air and offers air safety, a rare scene showing the strategic importance of the journey. A warm environment was also seen on the way to the airport. Local residents on both sides of the road, representatives of Chinese enterprises and international students blowing the national flag of China and Russia, wish Xi Chinfing for their successful journey and expressed cordial greetings.
