The corporation invited a 600 crore project tender for the disposal of 140 tonnes of waste lying on Okhla, Ghazipur and Bhalswa landfill. While seven to nine thousand tonnes of old waste of 16 tramal machines are discarded on the Okla landfill. All of these works are done under the garbage disposal scheme of the second phase. While this capacity in the third phase must become almost double, so that the trash mountains can be eliminated from Delhi in time. Therefore, the corporation wants to start the third phase of the work as soon as possible. According to the corporation, the process of depositing tender begins from October 9. Under the work of the third phase, 30 Lakh metric tons of waste disposal in 12 months from MCD Okhla Landfil, 40 lakh metric tons of garbage disposal will be discarded within 15 months and 70 lakh ton waste within 27 months of Ghazipur landfill. For this, 296 crores will be spent on Ghazipur landfill, while 167 will be spent on Bhalswa landfill and Rs 128 Crore on Okhla landfill.
