CM Vishnudev Sai paid tribute to martyr Asp akash Rao Girpunje, says martyrdom

Chhattisgarh’s chief minister Vishnudev Sai expressed deeply sadly as he paid tribute to the additional Superintendent of Police (APP) Akash Rao Girpunje, who was tortured by a cowardly IED blast by Naxalites in the Conta-era-erabora road in the Sukma district. The chief minister described this attack as extremely tragic, and bowed before the bravery of martyr’s Asp. Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai said: “It is very sad that one of our brave officers gave his martyrdom in the cowardly action taken by the Naxalites. I bow before their martyrdom. We can never forget their sacrifice. Their contribution and courage will remain an inspiration to the state and the whole country.” Salute to the bravery of the martyr ASP, chief minister Sai further said: “The commitment that martyr Asp Akash Rao Girpunje showed that his duty is an issue of pride for all of us. His fight against Naxalism is an inspiration, not only for Chhattisgarh, but also for the whole country.” The chief minister, while expressing his deeply compassion for the martyr’s family, the support of the state government and said that the state government is with him in this difficult hour. He assured that the government would provide all possible help and support to the family of the martyr. The chief minister promised to strengthen the action the state government has undertaken against the Naxalites. He said the state government and police departments will continue the fight against Naxalism despite this cowardly attack and does not allow such attacks to succeed. The martyrdom of martyr ASP over the entire state fed a wave of mourning across the state. From the police division to the general public, everyone condemned this cowardly attack.
