Police in Mumbai have arrested drug factory, three suppliers
Mumbai, June 10 (IANS). The MIDC police of Mumbai, who had a great success, caused an illegal drug factory to disappear in the Palghar district. Police have arrested three accused in this action. MD (metadron) medicine worth lakhs of rupees and the raw material prepared by MD (metadron) medicine was seized. This entire action was undertaken under the campaign offered against drugs. According to police, the action began when a Skoda car in the MIDC police station appeared in a high speed and suspicious condition. Police officers immediately stopped the car and searched the driver. MD medicine was recovered from him during the search, after which he was arrested. During interrogation, the accused made several shocking revelations. A senior police officer in Mumbai said the accused was already notorious scary and that 13 criminal cases were registered against him. After this, police, while conducting the investigation, also detained 24 -year -old manager Pratek Sudarshan Jadhav, a resident of Palghar. MD medicine was also recycled from Pratek. Police formed a team based on the interrogation of the arrested accused and on the basis of technical evidence and after the investigation, the pharmaceutical laboratory of Rajaram Khatke (43 years) was on the pharmaceutical laboratory, Procam Pharmaceutical Lab, Mena Chemicals, Tarc, District Palghar,. From here, police have recovered MD drugs and a large amount of raw materials used in the production of drugs. DCP Dutta Nalavade of Zone 10 said that a case was registered against the three accused in terms of section 8 (a), 21 (c) of the NDPS Act 1985. The three accused were produced in court, from where they were sent to police custody seven days. The price of 566 grams of MD medicine recovered from the accused is estimated at Rs 22,64,000.
