On the social media platform X, Prime Minister Modi wrote that on Police Memorial Day we salute the courage of our policemen and remember their supreme sacrifice in the line of duty. Their unwavering commitment keeps our nation and people safe. Their bravery and dedication in times of crisis and need is commendable. While posting on social media platform X, Union Home Minister Amit Shah wrote that all the policemen are heartily congratulated on Police Memorial Day. As first responders, our forces have proudly thwarted crimes and threats to internal security and protected the rights of citizens with exemplary courage and commitment. My heartfelt tribute to the martyrs who sacrificed their lives in the service of the country. Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla wrote in his previous post that warm greetings to our brave and dedicated police personnel on Police Memorial Day. This day is an opportunity to remember the sacrifice and dedication of police personnel who sacrifice their lives to maintain national security, unity and peace.
