The White House Wraping on H-1B visa, new fee not just on new visa, not on renewal (IANS exclusive)
Washington, September 20 (IANS). A day after US President Donald Trump issued an explanation a day after he signed the announcement of raising the fee at the H-1B visa program. The White House told Ians that it is a ‘lump sum fee’, which only applies to new visas, not renewal (renewal) or existing visa containers. An official from the White House told Ians: “This is a lump sum fee that only applies to new applicants. It only applies to new visas, not renewal or existing visa holders. It will only apply in the next upcoming lottery cycle.” A White House spokeswoman also made the IANS clear that the policy of companies would discourage to sprinkle in the system. White House spokesman Taylor Rogers said: “President Trump has promised to give US workers priority, and this practical step is doing the same by discouraging the system and reducing salary. Trump signed the manifesto at the White House on Friday, saying the incentive is to appoint US workers. Trump further said: “We need workers. We need good workers and it confirms it to a large extent.” Trade Minister Howard Lutnik also defended Trump’s decision, saying that these policies would discourage companies by appointing foreign employees. He explained: “The idea is that these large technical companies or other major businesses will not train foreign employees. They will have to pay $ 100,000 to the government, then they will have to pay the employee. Therefore, it is not financially profitable. You are not going to train anyone from a university in our country recently, and we are the policy here, $ 1.00,000 per year for H-1.” India approved about 73 percent of the total H1-B visa in 2023, followed by China 12 percent, mainly due to heavy delays in the sanctions and a larger number of migrants skilled from India. -Ians Sch/DKP
