Jakarta – There is a test program for Jakarta Smart Card (KJP) recipients. This program is aimed at class XII or class 12 high school students. Based on information from the Jakarta Education Department, the KJP tryout for class XII students gives KJP Plus students the opportunity to try out for free in preparation for college admission. The Governor of DKI Jakarta, Pramono Anung, launched the KJP Try Out program in East Jakarta on Tuesday (21/10). “The hope is that students will get fair and equal opportunities, which will then make them more confident to continue to higher education according to their respective choices,” said Pramono at the East Jakarta Mayor’s Office. Pramono instructed the Education Department to continue this program in other areas. “East Jakarta is the initiator, as a start-up. Hopefully this program will be sustainable and involve state-owned enterprises (BUMN), regionally-owned enterprises (BUMD) and the private sector that will be carried out through creative financing,” said Governor Pramono. Purpose of KJP Try Out Through KJP Try Out, students are expected to be able to measure their academic abilities and experience a real exam simulation as well as increase their competitiveness in State University Admission Selection (PTN). All trial progress can be directly monitored so that the results can be used as evaluation material to increase student performance and learning motivation. KJP Try Out Schedule KJP Try Out is part of the East Jakarta Mayor’s work program in the education sector for students who receive the Jakarta Smart Card (KJP). The top 20 students will receive intensive guidance from the Naiju teaching team as a form of appreciation for their hard work and dedication. The material tested is in accordance with the structure, namely Scholastic Potential (TPS) and Literacy, which was carried out five times over the period from October 2025 to February 2026. This program will be extended to 40 other public high schools in East Jakarta with a total of 3,304 students participating.
