There is nothing to close theaters before Pawan Kalyan's film release: Dil Raju
Hyderabad, May 26 (IANS). The famous Tollywood producer Dil Raju on Monday denied any step to close theaters in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana before the release of the Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Pawan Kalyan. Dil Raju told reporters that no one has the courage to stop the release of Pawan Kalyan’s movie ‘Hari Hari Veera Mallu’, which will be released on June 12. Telangana state film Vikas Nigam president Dil Raju claims that some established selfish elements are spreading false rumors. He made it clear that he was not part of any meeting that was decided to close theaters or the Telugu film room of trade made such an indication. He asked why someone would consider stopping the film of Pawan Kalyan, which is a big star and many fans. On April 19, theater owners and distributors of the East Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh decided that if they did not meet, they would close their theater. Dil Raju said he later softened his position when producers understood the problems of theater owners. The manufacturer also said that in other parts of Andhra Pradesh and in Telangana some claims made such as percentage systems. However, he claimed that the issue of closing the theater was never on the agenda of any meeting. Over the past few days, there have been rumors that the theater could be closed for Pawan Kalyan’s film. Films such as ‘Bhairavam’, ‘THG Life’ and ‘Kubera’ will also be released in June. Dil Raju said rumors created confusion and that the Andhra Pradesh government became angry. Andhra Pradesh’s Minister of Tourism and Cinematography, Kandula Durgesh, who is the leader of Pawan Kalyan, accused of a conspiracy behind the call to close theaters. He also demanded an investigation to find out who asked for a standstill.
