Passengers saved their lives by jumping, but many’s luggage burned. There was a long traffic jam due to the fire. Fire engines extinguished the fire and the police switched off the power supply. The bus was from Dadri to Hardoi when the accident occurred due to spark in the engine. A bus goes up in smoke in Dharpa village in the rural area of Khurja on the Aligarh-Ghaziabad highway. As the bus neared Yagyadutt College in Dharpa village in Khurja rural area on the Aligarh-Ghaziabad highway, sparks started coming from the engine of the bus. The driver hastily stopped the bus by the side of the road. Meanwhile, flames began to rise from the smoke. As soon as the passengers got off the bus, they started jumping and breaking the glass. Within minutes the fire spread throughout the bus. More than 20 passengers on the bus did not even get enough time to take out their luggage. However, the passengers breathed a sigh of relief as they left on time. On the other hand, two vehicles from the fire brigade brought the fire under control. Not only that, due to the fire in the bus there was a jam of about five kilometers on the highway from Bulandshahr to Khurja. As a result, the passengers had to face problems. The electricity supply was cut off and the bus was parked on the side of the highway and it was on fire. High voltage line wires went over it. In which electricity supply was on. Out of vigilance, the police informed the Energy Corporation officials about the incident. The electricity supply was also stopped. By the time we could understand something, the fire had spread and within a few minutes the bus caught fire. By the time anyone could understand, the fire had spread throughout the bus.
