The main purpose of this meeting is to raise the level of education and provide better education to the students. Divisional review meetings of the Director General of School Education are ongoing on this. Now the Additional Chief Secretary, Basic and Secondary Education, Partha Sarathi Sen Sharma has convened a review meeting of all the programs and schemes run under holistic education, basic education and secondary education. This meeting will be held on Friday from 11:00 to 16:00. Instructions were given that all the officers should be present at the NIC centers of their district on time and join the meeting through video conferencing. In the meeting, there will be a special discussion on improving the quality of all the basic and secondary schools of the state. Along with this, the progress of various schemes including construction work, community participation, quality improvement, financial management, pre-primary education, integrated education, girl education, mid-day meal, educational calendar, mini-stadium construction, vocational education will be reviewed. This meeting is the first detailed meeting of the Additional Chief Secretary, in which district and division level officials are brought together. It is believed that after the meeting there will be improvement in both the speed and accountability of departmental work.
