China's 34 Nature Reserve has become the World Biosphere Reserve
Beijing, September 17 (IANS). Currently, there is 34 Nature Reserve approved by UNESCO as the World Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO, which is first in Asia. These reserves have become the most active nature reserves in China in the context of sustainable use of natural resources, sustainable use of natural resources, sustainable use of natural resources, shared development between protected areas and surrounding communities. The Chinese State Council’s Information Office launched the fifth World Conference on Scientific and Technical Assistance and Biosphere Reserve for the erection of ecological civilization during the news release held on September 16. The Human and Biosphere Program (MAB) was launched by UNESCO in 1971. It is one of UNESCO’s longest running intergovernmental science programs. Since China first participated in the Human and Biosphere program in 1973, China has created the world’s largest national network for the implementation of the human and biosphere program. China erected the ‘China Biosphere Reserve Network’ in 1993 to fully utilize the International Exchange Forum of ‘Human and Bio -Service program’. By August 2025, 214 Nature Reserves in China (including 34 World Biosphere Reserve) were approved to join the “China Biosphere Reserve Network”.
