Jakarta – The KPK is still investigating the allegations of corruption in projects in the Engineering Procurement and Construction Division (EPC) of PT Pembangunan Perumahan (PP). The KPK revealed the alleged manner of this matter related to fictional projects. “It is believed that there are several fictional projects carried out in this corruption mode,” KPK spokeswoman Budi Prasetyo said Tuesday (7/29/2025). So only invoices or accounts are the basis to withdraw money according to the value of the project,” he said. “Now the payout is flowing to certain parties,” he added. Budi said that the KPK imposed sections 2 and 3 of the Corruption Act. It is thought that there was a payout of funds or a budget of the fictional project by the subcontractors. “Yes, so when we look at PT PP, it is then that there are indeed a state finances that are managed. So that the KPK uses Article 2 in this case, because it is suspected that state losses are caused,” he said. In this case, the KPK cited two people as suspects. This corruption case took place in projects in the PT PP EPC division performed in 2022-2023. “On December 9, 2024, the KPK began the investigation into the case and he cited two people as suspects. The investigation process is currently underway, for the name and position of the suspect that it cannot be transferred at this time,” KPK spokeswoman Tessa Mardhika said in his statement on Friday (12/20). The KPK also prevented two people from traveling with the initials DM and HNN abroad.
