This Indian company has created a panic in the market, sold over 1.5 lakh electric scooter

Auto News Desk, Bangalore-based EV startup Ola Electric entered the two-wheeled market by starting S1 and S1 Pro Electric Scooters in August 2021 and customers took them into their hands as soon as they were introduced. Electric scooters have received great response from the market. Now the company has revealed that it managed to sell about 1.5 lakhelectric scooters in 2022. The EV manufacturer also announced future plans, including e-motracycle and the launch of electric cars. Ola Electric is ready for the future and the company plans to start several new products in the coming years. OLA Electric’s plan for the coming years will also launch a mass market scooter, a mass market motorcycle and various premium motorcycles (sports, cruiser, adv and road bikes) in 2023 and 2024. The company will also export these EVs to the global market. The company says its first electric car will be launched in 2024 and by 2027 the company wants to bring 6 different products to the market. Ola’s existing product portfolio contains electric scooters such as S1 Air, S1 and S1 Pro. Scooters in Ola Electric’s portfolio have a 2.5 kWh battery pack in S1 Air, S1 has 3 kWh unit and S1 Pro has 4 kWh unit. The company claims to be able to provide a series of 101, 141 and 181 km/full cost respectively. The price of Ola S1 Air is currently Rs 84.999, while the S1 and S1 Pro were priced at Rs 99.999 and RS 1.40 Lakh (ex-showroom) respectively. Share this story
