Moroccan minister: The fifth generation network will cover 70% by 2030
Morocco is aimed at covering the fifth generation network by 2026, and by the end of the current decade about 70%, according to Ghaith Muzour, Minister of Digital Transition and Administration Reform in Morocco in an interview with “Al Sharq”. On the sidelines of the opening of an Innovation Center for ‘Nokia’ business in Salé, near the capital Rabat, the minister said these goals within the ‘Moroccan digital strategy 2030’ that want to make the kingdom a productive land for digital solutions. The government official said that the Finnish company’s Innovation Center is the first of its kind in Africa and the Middle East, and will contribute to the strengthening of Morocco’s position as a regional pole in digital innovation, and will also develop the latest digital technologies and the formation of Moroccan and African powers.
