New -Delhi, May 16 (IANS). The Speaker of the Delhi meeting Viendra Gupta made serious allegations about an alleged major scam related to the erection of 24 hospitals in the national capital Delhi. He said that heavy irregularities were revealed in the construction process of the hospital launched by the government of Delhi’s previous AAAM AAdmi party (AAP), and that this whole case was complained to the anti -corruption branch (ACB). Vijendra Gupta told the Ians news agency on Friday: “When I was the leader of opposition in the Delhi legislative meeting in August 2024, I investigated the case deeply. He said that the ACB asked permission to register a fir in the case on the basis of the complaint, as the case was related to the then Minister Saurabh Bhardwaj. As it was a complaint against a minister, the case was sent to the Ministry of Home Affairs, the Government of India and the Delhi Directorate, Delhi, was sent by Vigilance Directorate, Delhi. Gupta expressed the confidence that the Union Ministry of Home Affairs will allow it soon and will certainly take action against the culprits. He said there was gross abuse and wastage of government money in this scam. The money that would be spent on the public’s health services either wasted or abused. He also made it clear that the case was related to both former health ministers and that it was not investigated in political but public interest. The speaker said that as a leader of opposition, he emphasized the entire scam and serious financial irregularities in the investigation were revealed.
