Madho Singh was the younger brother of Ambar’s great Mughal commander man Singh. Along with Bhangarh Fort, the entire settlement was safe with five large doors. Apart from the royal palace, there were more than 9,000 houses in Bhangarh until 1720, after which the population gradually decreased here. The remains of Grand Haslis, temples and abandoned markets can be seen in the fort’s premises, which point to the rich days of the fort. This fort is considered a haunted spot today.
