Three people were stabbed to death after a dispute with a group of eight people on a Dhaba along the road in Dhaba in the Dhamtari district of Chhattisgarh. Suraj Singh Parihar, Superintendent of the Dhamtari Police (SP), said five people were arrested in connection with the Bhoya murders in the Arjuni police station and the remaining three minors were arrested. “The initial investigation revealed that the accused was drunk, ate them at the Dhaba and had arguments with the Dhaba employees. At the same time, the three victims, Alok Singh, Nitin Tandi and Suresh Hiyal, arrived for dinner. An accused named Gopi Dewan, 20, allegedly stabbed the three to death and caused them on the spot. Parih said police later arrested eight suspects and seized the weapon of murder. Apart from GOPI, the accused was identified as Kuleshwar Netam, 25, Ranveer Kumar Sahu, 20, Kamlesh Diwan, 22, residents of the Dhamtari district. Three minors were also detained.
