Assam: Police shot four suspects related to Ulfa-I to escape from supervision

Guwahati, December 24 (IANS). Four youths who are believed to be associated with Ulfa-I in Assam were injured in an attempt to escape from detention by police. An official said on Sunday that the four were injured when he was shot in two different places. A young man was seriously injured in the Konwarpur area in the Sivasagar district in a shooting, identified as Pallab Jyoti Gogoi.
