Jakarta – Mayor of Cilegon Robinsar and Deputy Mayor of Cilegon Fjar Hadi Prabowo realized the promise of the campaign after being inaugurated in early February. One is the Cilegon Juare Scholarship aimed at improving the quality of human resources (HR). Walkot Cilegon Robinsar said the Cilegon Juare scholarship is one of the programs present as a breakthrough to provide a golden opportunity for the best boys and daughters of Cilegon. “Both those who excel and those who come from underprivileged families to get higher education at favorite universities,” Robinsar said in a written statement on Tuesday (9/16/2025). Browse to continue the content, he said the Cilegon Juare scholarship program is not only financial aid, but an integrated program aimed at bridgeing the world of education with industrial needs, which facilitates even the recipients of the world of work. “This scholarship is part of a great vision of realizing a more advanced, prosperous and sustainable Cilegon,” Robinsar said. Rahmatullah, head of welfare of Cilegon city government, said this program has a strong legal basis, namely the Mayor of Cilegon Regulation No. 2025 and announced by a letter numbered 1466/2025. “This program is designed to overcome regional strategic issues such as unemployment and poverty in the most fundamental way, namely by education,” Rahmatullah said. Strategic collaboration is established, says Rahmatullah, between the Cilegon City government, dozens of well -known universities at home and abroad. In addition, the Cilegon City government also worked with the business world and industry. This is done to ensure that graduates of this program are not only undergraduate but also have relevant skills and are ready to be recorded by the labor market. “Since being launched, out of a total of 1,157 requests entering, as many as 511 people have passed the selection. With details of 307 people or 60.08% for achievement bursaries, 204 people or 39.92% for those who cannot afford,” Rahmatullah said. According to Rahmatullah, the recipients of the scholarship were distributed over 22 partner campuses. With details, 10 well -known tertiary institutions, 4 ministry/institutions, 2 local universities and 6 private universities in the Cilegon City area. The universities include, University of Indonesia 8 people, Gadjah Mada University 5 people, ITB 8 people, Brawijaya University 6 people, Undip 24 People, Airlangga University 3 People, Unpad Bandung 6 People, IPB 15 people, its 5 November People, UPI 37 People, UIN SMH Banten 35 People, Stikom People, 8 people from chemistry analysis Khairiyah Sciences School 30 People, 1 person Shipping College, Banten Petrochemical Industry Polytechnic, Health Polytechnic of the Ministry of Health Banten 22, and Banten Shipping Polytechnic 1 person. “This program is specifically designed to reduce the risk of unemployment by ensuring the link and agreement between graduates and the great potential of the industry and ports in the city of Cilegon,” he concluded.
