Tight security arrangements regarding Navratri in Jamshedpur, women's police will be deployed in civil attire

Jamshedpur, September 19 (IANS). Police administration has made extensive preparations for safety arrangements during Navratri and Durga Puja in Jamshedpur. The District Police has made a special women’s safety strategy to traffic management. City SP Kumar Shivashish said on Friday that police would strictly deal with those trying to distribute anti -social elements activities, women underway, misconduct and any form of disorders in the pandal and crowded markets. Women -policemen will be deployed in civil attire in every major puja pandal and surrounding areas. He said: “The safety of women and girl students is the most important priority. No chaos will be tolerated.” To monitor the anti-social elements, the patrolling of high speed motorcycles of Tago Jawans is arranged. These soldiers will constantly monitor the most important routes and sensitive areas of the city, so that any emergency can be taken immediately. The women’s protection power will be actively deployed at crowded areas and large intersections. In addition, ongoing monitoring will be done using CCTV cameras. Quick response team and patrol parties will also be ready at all times. City SP said there are a crowd of millions during Durga Puja, so it would also be challenging to keep the traffic system correct. For this, additional traffic police will be deployed and the presence of additional police force is insured in each police station. He said that the purpose of the police is that dedicated can be sure and enjoy the worship and maintain peace and cordial atmosphere in the city.
