TMC leader threatens to protest in Delhi if names of 'Legal' voters are removed in Bengal

Kolkata, October 11 (IANS). Trinamole Congress general secretary Kunal Ghosh threatened to protest with one Lakh people in Delhi on Saturday as the name of even a single valid voter by the India Electoral Commission (ECI) from the West Bengale voters. Ghosh addressed a Vijaya Sammilani (Post-Durga Puja Get-Emether) at Ketugram in the East Bardhaman district, saying: “Stay united against Sir. Mamata Banerjee and Abhishek Banerjee are with us. Election Commission in the Delhi Office Electoral Commission. Ghosh said, “Earlier they had said that central forces should be deployed to conduct elections. Despite this, they lost (West Bengal Assembly Elections). Now they want to tamper with the voter list. They have used the election commission for this. Included the names of voters from other states in the list. Trinamole with 250 seats comes to power. There will be no change in the post of Chief Minister. There will be a change in the position of leader of the opposition, as the BJP will not have sufficient number of MLAs for that post, “Ghosh said. In the midst of indications that the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) will begin through the India Electoral Commission in Western Bengals, the commission made clear that its norms for the choice of return officers, and election registration officials (eros) in the state, under no circumstances should be jeopardized.
