Former US Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley has repeated the importance of rebuilding the US India ratio to counter China. In a post on X, Haley said: “To face China, the United States must have a friend in India.” She said: “India must take Trump’s point about Russian oil seriously and work with the White House to find a solution. The sooner the better.” Haley noted that “navigation problems such as trade differences and Russian oil imports require hard dialogue.” “But we should not lose sight of the most important: our shared goals,” she said. “Decades of friendship and good will between the world’s two largest democracies provides a solid basis to move beyond the current turbulence,” Haley added.
