Paul Surin is accused of killing the informants Bhushan Kumar Singh and Ram Govind in 2013. In the case, in April 2024, the Ranchi Lower Court convicted Jetha Kachhap with Paul and sentenced him to life imprisonment. Paul has been in prison ever since. Paul appealed in the Supreme Court against the sentence. The incident is from Torpa of Khunti. In the year 2013, police informant Bhushan Singh and Ram Govind died. Six including Paul Surin, Naxalite Jetha Kachhap, Krishna Mahato and three women were accused in the case.
