IMPHAL, JUNE 12 (IANS). An Air India aircraft crashed on Wednesday in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, expected to be killed. Two manipur cabin crew members also died in this accident. The deceased was identified as Congalatapam Naganathoi Sharma, a resident of Thobal Avang Leikai in the Thobal district and Singson Lamanunthem in the Churachandpur district. Okram Surjakumar, MLA of the Khangabok constituency, met the family on Thursday at Nagal Avang Leikai in Nagal Avang Leikai. He expressed his deep condolences and shared the sadness of the family. The MLA said: “This is an irreparable loss of Manipur. Naganathoi was a promising girl who achieved this position with her hard work. We are in this difficult hour with her family.” The investigation into the cause of the accident began. According to preliminary information, the airport plane flew in Ahmedabad, but it crashed shortly thereafter. The official confirmation of how many people have lost their lives in the accident has yet to be done. Air India expressed deeply saddened by the incident and ensured all possible help to the families of the deceased. It is said that the plane crashed into the residence of the BJ Medical College along the Civil Hospital of Ahmedabad.
