BJP announced the Maharashtra -Governor CP Radhakrishnan on Sunday as the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) choice for the upcoming Vice President elections. BJP president JP Nadda announced the nomination, said a meeting chaired by Premier Naredra Modi decided that Radhakrishnan’s name was after an extensive deliberation. The vice presidential election, which was forced last month by the resignation of the established Jagdeep Dhankhar, is scheduled for September 9. The last date for the submission of nomination is August 22. Between 2004 and 2007, Shri Radhakrishnan served as the state president of the BJP in Tamil Nadu. 4.
