Officials have implemented contraflow on the Jagorawi toll road, precisely at Cipayung KM 08+800 – Cimanggis KM 17+200 to overcome traffic congestion. The contraflow lane is enforced from the direction of Cimanggis in lane 4/right. One of the congestion points occurred at Karang Tengah Barat Km 12 towards Kunciran Km 14 due to heavy traffic entering and leaving the rest area. “Tangerang KM 18 – Kunciran KM 14 is congested, traffic volume is dense in and out of the rest area. Karang Tengah KM 09 – Kedoya KM 04 is congested, traffic volume is dense,” he said. Furthermore, counter flow to the Tomang underpass to Kebon Jeruk Km 03+400 was also implemented this morning. The counterflow lane is enforced from the direction of Kebon Jeruk in lane 3 or right. Traffic conditions on the Inner City Toll Road also experienced congestion at a number of points. One of them is in Cawang in the direction of Tebet. “The Cawang Inner City Toll Road towards Tebet is congested, there is a lot of traffic volume; Cengkareng – Pluit – Tomang – Cawang,” he said.
