Msme Country's economic backbone, 27.85 crore people got jobs: Jitan Ram Manjhi

Patna, June 10 (IANS). The Minister of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises of the Union (MSME), Jeetan Ram Manjhi, discussed a press conference in Patna on Tuesday and discussed the completion of one year of his ministry and the achievements of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA). Jeetan Ram Manjhi addressed the media and said that we regularly look at great industries, but that the MSME sector is the backbone of the country. It not only contributes 30 percent to the country’s GDP, but also carries 35.4 percent to the manufacturing sector and 46 percent to total exports. A target has been set to work on 30 Lakh people under the Pradhan Mantri Vishwakarma Yojana. Under the scheme, the beneficiaries are given a set of up to Rs 15,000 for free and interest -free loan to Rs 1 Lakh. He further said that so far 6 Crore 46 Lakh MSME units have been registered and by their 27.85 crore people got a job. This figure reflects the social and economic effectiveness of ministry. He also emphasized the achievements of the Bihar Ministry. He informed that the construction of the Technology Center in Bihta is almost completed and that another technological center is being built in Gaya, which will heap Premier Modi in July. Both centers cost two hundred crore calls. In addition, expansion centers are established in Muzaffarpur, Saran, Rohtas, Rajgir, Purnia and Darbhanga. Through these centers, the necessary resources will be provided to local youth for technical training and entrepreneurship. He further said that Khadi’s largest showroom will be opened in Bodh Gaya, which will be ready by July. This initiative will not only promote Khadi and village industries, but also provide work to local craftsmen and artisans. Regarding the status of a special state, he said that according to Niti Aayog’s current policy, no special status can be given. Bihar does not get as much special status as much as the facilities are provided to Bihar under special package. He described it as a positive step for the development of Bihar. The ministry has started two portals, businesses and businesses specifically, which can easily be registered.
