Tribal Business Conclave will help empower entrepreneurs and promote inclusive growth

New Delhi, October 22 (IANS). Tribal Business Conclave 2025 will be organized on November 12 at Yashobhoomi, New Delhi to increase market access for indigenous products and encourage financing and investment for tribal communities. This information was given by the government on Wednesday. The conclave will also celebrate the 150th birth anniversary of Lord Birsa Munda, which is in line with the Prime Minister’s vision of ‘Tribal Pride’ and ‘Vocal for Local’, the official statement said. This program will be organized by the Ministry of Tribal Affairs in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture and Department for Promotion of Industry and Domestic Trade. “Based on the Prime Minister’s vision of a self-reliant India and a developed India by 2047, this conclave aims to empower tribal entrepreneurs across India and promote inclusive, innovation-led and sustainable growth,” the statement said. The event will mark a transformational milestone in India’s development journey, where tribal entrepreneurship occupies a central place in the national development story. Major ministries like MSME, Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Textiles, Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region, Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Food Processing Industries, Agriculture and Rural Development are also playing an active role in this event. The conclave programs will include “Roots to Rise” keynote sessions for tribal entrepreneurs, where they will be able to present their business ideas to investors, corporate social responsibility (CSR) leaders and government institutions for guidance, funding and incubation. Further knowledge sessions, master classes and a CEO forum focused on skill development and market access will also be organised, the statement said. There will also be an exhibition of more than 100 tribal enterprises and micro-enterprises, including handicrafts, agricultural products, forest products and green technology.
