Tribal empowerment will be strengthened only through public participation... President Draupadi Murmu spoke at the national conference of Adi Karmayogi Abhiyan.

President Draupadi Murmu was the chief guest at the national conference of “Aadi Karmayogi Abhiyan 2025” organized by the tribal affairs ministry at Vigyan Bhawan, Delhi on Friday. During the conference, he said that development is not possible without leaving any community behind. Development can only be achieved by working together with all communities. The path of tribal empowerment will only be strengthened through public participation. The conference was organized to celebrate Tribal Pride Year and was attended by representatives of more than 30 states and union territories. Tribal Affairs Minister Jual Oram, Foreign Minister Durgadas Uike, Union Ministers of various Ministries, Secretaries, District Magistrates, Adivasi Karmayogi, partners and partners, master trainers, representatives of United Nations agencies and international organizations were also present. The world’s largest tribal leadership mission, President Murmu said in his speech, “Adi Karmayogi Abhiyan is a historic initiative. It connects every tribal family with the development goals of the country. It is an important step towards a developed India by 2047.” Meanwhile, Union Minister Jual Oram said that in this campaign launched under the vision of Prime Minister Modi, more than 2 million officers, self-help group women and tribal youth have been trained so far. The objective is to promote participatory governance and last-mile delivery of schemes in more than 100,000 tribal villages. Initiatives to Strengthen Grassroots Governance The conference had separate sessions on five main themes: Governance and Institutional Strength, Education and Skill Development, Livelihoods and Entrepreneurship, Health and Nutrition and Infrastructure. District magistrates and experts from different districts across the country shared their experiences and successful models. Tribal Service Centers of Gujarat have been identified as Single Window Facility Centres. Share this story Tags
