Tripura: Chief Minister Manik Saha has targeted CPI (M) -TMC, saying: '' Cut off from the public, only on social media active '
Agartala, October 10 (IANS). Dr. Tripura chief minister Manik Saha on Friday launched a shocking attack on the Marxist Communist Party (CPI-M) and Trinamol Congress (TMC). He accused the opposition parties of being cut off from the public and created the ‘illusion of victory’ by being active only on social media. The statement of Chief Minister Manik Saha comes a day after the visit of a six-member TMC delegation from West Bengal to Agartala, who submitted a FIR after the party office was allegedly vandalized by BJP supporters. Dr. Saha said with reporters: “CPI (M) and TMC have no connection to society. They sit at home and post on social media and think they have won Tripura. This is proof of their hollow politics.” He pointed to the TMC delegation and said: “Some Kolkata leaders came with a tribal women, hoping that if any incident occurred, they would use it to counteract the attack on our leader Khagen Murmu in Jalpaiguri. It shows their attractive mentality.” The chief minister said the Tripura government handled the situation with adulthood and accuracy and thus pitched TMC’s ‘political drama’. His efforts have failed. They just came to lure out, but BJP knows how to deal with them. TMC will come again in the next election, but we are ready. Saha said BJP’s power lies among the people and not on the scenes of social media. He said: “The opposition is working on the campaign, but not in public service. The people of Tripura are intelligent and want development.” Let us tell you that the incident of the attack on TMC Office in Tripura recently created controversy. TMC claimed that BJP workers had vandalized their office, while BJP described it as an ‘opposition sponsored drama’. -SYANS SCH Share this story Tags
