Jakarta – A truck was deteriorating because he couldn’t climb uphill and then crashed into a number of motorcycles on Jalan Raya Surabaya -Malang, Karangploso Hamlet, Ngerong Village, Mempol, Pasuruan. Three people died in this deadly incident. This fatal accident started with a truck with the registration number W 8717 UR from north to south or from Surabaya to Malang, Saturday (11/10/2025) at about 13.30 WIB. The truck hit the Honda Vario N 2462 Tay, Yamaha Mio JN 5626 ACO and Honda Vario L 3778ac’s behind it. Three riders died at the scene. “The Wing Box truck has deteriorated, the information was that it could not climb uphill. Finally, it went backwards and hit three motorcycles behind it,” said Traffic Unit Head of the Traffic Unit, as reported by Detikjatim. One of the victims was known as a student returning from an internship or a double system education (PSG), from the Ngadimulyo village, Sukorejo district. The dead victims were evacuated to Bhayangkara Hospital, Watukosek, moled. Meanwhile, the Wing Box Truck driver was immediately detained by officers. The Gakum Unit of the Puluruan Police Traffic Unit accompanied by the Mempol police traffic unit conducted an investigation at the scene of the fatal accident. “We do not yet know the causal factors and the investigation is handled by the Gakum unit of the Pasuruan police traffic unit.
