Trump on $ 1 coin for 2026. Treasury investigates dollar with president for America’s 250th birthday

The US Treasury division is allegedly investigating the coin of a $ 1 coin with the incidence of President Donald Trump on both sides to commemorate the 250th anniversary of the country’s founding in 2026. The proposed coin designs are currently in draft form. One side of the coin contains Trump’s profile, placed above the inscriptions “in God we trust” and the dates “1776–2026.” The back portrays Trump that lifts a clamped fist, and reflects a widespread photo taken moments after surviving an assassination attempt during a 2024 presidential campaign in Pennsylvania. The words ‘Fight Fight’, referring to Trump’s rally after the attack, around the edge of this side of the coin. US treasurer Brandon Beach confirmed the authenticity of the concept designs on X and wrote: “No fake news here. These first concepts that honor America’s 250th birthday and @potus are real.” Beach added: “Looking forward to share more soon, as soon as the obstructionist closure of the US government is over.” Legislative background congress approved two-party legislation in 2020, which was signed by Trump during his first term, and authorized Treasury Secretary to issue one-dollar coins during 2026. The legislation mandates that the coin design is ‘an emblem of the United States semi-semi-sights’, leaving room for symbolic or historical footage.
